Objectives / Role
		Equality of Opportunity in Education: Within the context of this objective, the aim is to influence the new programme to support Partnerships in achieving equality.

Meeting Times		The policy group will meet once a quarter. At least one meeting will be held in Dublin, the others moving around the country to facilitate exchange of best practise around Partnership Education & Training work.
Reporting Procedure		To PLANET Network every quarter and provides relevant updates to PLANET management committee and Partnership staff as required.
Policy Position		To focus on Education Inequality, and how best to increase the level of engagement of disadvantage groups. Special focus on Rural Educational Inequality Access to education (at all three levels) Informing the 'New Programme' and maintain the innovation focus Develop a niche where Partnerships are seen to be the key agents at tackling education disadvantage.
